After graduating with my Agribusiness degree, I began my professional career with the "Growing Educational Training Program" through the University of Florida in conjunction with the Alachua County School Board. A demonstration garden was constructed as a training ade for teachers, and a training campus.

Students with disabilities learned life skills and received job training while putting fresh, locally grown food into school lunches. All of the food we grew went into the 64 cafeterias in the district. A true farm-to-school-to-work hub model.
