iGrow my stomping grounds, the foundation for my gardening, farming, community engagement, and economic empowerment journey. This was a youth 12yrs - 18yrs old who managed an urban farm on a 1-acre plot in the blight-stricken community of French-town in Tallahassee, FL. Set up by the Tallahassee Food Network. 

In addition to the wonderful food being grown, people were being grown. It was here that I witnessed the power of food and its effects on cognitive and intellectual processing. 

It allowed me the opportunity to work with my first nonprofit organization, how to create compost, run a program, and my first Agricultural based employment came from volunteering here. Long-term relationships were developed during my time here that continue to enrich my life.
